S†ory Sisters is based in Liverpool, Merseyside and we offer a programme of recovery which provides hope for women struggling with life controlling issues such as self harm, eating disorders, depression and anxiety, low self- esteem, addiction and the effects of physical, mental and sexual abuse.
We use biblical teachings, principles and tools, along with theatre, to bring inner healing to places only God can reach.
Here at S†ory Sisters we believe life controlling issues are merely the branches of a tree. You can chop them down as often as you like, but unless you dig the roots up completely, you will be fighting a losing battle and the problem will grow back bigger and stronger.
Our goal is to lead you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and by doing this you will come to know who you really are. We believe that the Word of God speaks of recovery and reconciliation through a life of relationship with Jesus Christ and believe that constant communion with God through prayer, bible reading and personal interaction with believers can produce an ongoing addiction-free lifestyle.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy, instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor
